For the Love of Squishy Orbeez!
We Love DIY’s in my family!! After a long summer break, the kids are back to school.
While I’m totally getting them back in the groove, I have to admit, I’m having a little bit of a headache keeping them away from the screen.
My older one has spent quite some time on the screen in summer watching Toy Reviews, DIY’s, immersing himself in the opening of Kinder Egg surprises and then, Orbeez!!
Wondering what these are? Ha, well I was at one time too!! After seeing some kid on YouTube having a fantastic time with these, we got a few in our house too.
They are super absorbent polymers! That’s for those who want the science. OK, to me they are these tiny little gel type things that when you put them in water they grow to about 100 times their original size and become bouncy squishy balls of fun.
A tubful of Orbeez has successfully managed to keep my kids miles away from TV!! It’s almost over a week since we’ve got them into the house, and nope, the fascination for Orbeez hasn’t diminished.
Do see this uber cool video to believe how engaging and captivation this DIY Orbeez Fun can be!
It’s reached a stage now where the Orbeez are being improvised upon to enhance their use to an entirely new level.
Next blog post on more DIYs from Orbeez coming soon!
To me too, these are tiny gel thingy’s which are cute and can occupy kids!
Reading your next post now!
Aren’t they amazing!! Thanks!
So much fun !! Loved this activity 🙂
I saw this thing in target yesterday . NOw I know what to do with them.I will try this with my toddler.
Oh do supervise!! Hope he enjoys them .
I remember orbeez. We you to fill our water bowl and keep it to table. But with children we must keep a constant watch as this may be choking sometimes. I loved the colourful pictures.
Jiya the colours are indeed gorgeous. Also, couldn’t agree more on the supervision.
woww… so much fun..
i feel like getting into the tub myself :p
Awww… You are welcome. Ruhaan might give you his version of “Orbeezpa.” It’s his version of a spa with Orbeez!
Never knew orbeez can be used to keep kids busy as well.😂😂till now just thought it was a piece of decoration…Thank you for sharing this.
Oh I tried to use them for decoration. They just found their way back into the hands of the kids!
Now this looks totally a fun activity to keep my little ones occupied
This looks a rel fun for kids and mom too. DIY activities keep both mom and kids engaged for hours.
Yes totally…fun and engaging.
This is so cool! Had never heard of these… Where did you buy them? And they’re safe? These will definitely keep Karma busy!
Amazon has them. We however, found them at a local store. They are safe to play with. Ofcourse, non-edible! Make sure you are around her when she plays.
I have been waiting to try this with my son but waiting for few more months as he might just try tasting these ..looks so much fun
Caution is good. Supervision is definitely needed.
These things are so much fun…I remember I used to play with them myself. My kiddo is still in the mouthing everything phase though so will have to wait to try this with him.
You certainly must wait.
This looks fun. We had a small pack of this at home too but then I had to get away with them as my kids still mouth their toys. I was very apprehensive to use them.
If they are popping things in their mouths, then this is definitely not for them.
Hey…i completely forgot about them…thanks for reminding about them…going to do this soon. I usually used them as house decor thing .
Hope you guys enjoy as much as we did.
This looks super fun. Getting these for babyT now. I cant wait for your posts ahead on this.
Thanks!! I’ll update you as soon as it’s done.
I like them for decorating my house. Still waiting for the time when I son would understand that putting them in mouth is NO NO.
Yes. Best to wait if baby is in the tasting things stage.
I love sensorial activities and just waiting for my baby to get lil older to try this

Looks like so much fun. Never knew we could make DIY out of it.
Why just kids, even I would love to try these!
