A Free And Fun Online Puzzle Game For Kids And Adults

    By Motheropedia | Motherhood, Parenting | 39 comments | 19 June, 2017 | 1

Thank you JS Puzzles for sponsoring this post. All the opinions in this article belong to me.

As a mom, I’m always looking out for interesting and fascinating things for my kids. Finding mentally stimulating games in this influx of digital transitions is challenging. Also, I’m always looking for a way to align technology with education. Everything is going online and so are brain games and food for the brain.

Online puzzles are something I enjoy playing and encourage my kids to play. While one is saved from the major hassle that arises out of needing to store a millions physical pieces of puzzles, it’s quite convenient to enjoy an online version. You can play it anywhere, anytime with no additional costs involved.

Currently, the trending love in our family is this classic 2D online puzzle called www.jspuzzles.com. My 6 year old has fun choosing the puzzle that he wants to play. There is a new puzzle here every day and that just keeps the interest levels high.

    Online Puzzle Games

    Online Puzzle Games

    1. It is Free
This online puzzle game requires no registration or subscription fee. It’s free and you can play it any number of times.

    2. Choose You Puzzle
Just like in a store, you can choose the puzzle that you want to solve. With puzzles ranging from animals to sceneries, buildings to art, there is something on this online puzzle game that will please everyone.

    3. Customization
Unlike a regular puzzle that you buy in the store which comes with fixed number of pieces, JP Puzzles allows you the flexibility of choosing the number of pieces you wish for your puzzle to be divided in. This gives the player a free hand to increase or amp up the difficulty level.

    4. Timer
This is an interesting feature. It helps you to time your performance. It gives the player a chance to see how he’s performed over a period of time. There certainly is a certain excitement to see time taken to solve this online puzzle; both for adults and kids likewise.

    5. Simplicity
I’m the kind of mom who likes to keep play uncomplicated. With the simple aesthetics of this online puzzle, it is easy for the little kids to stay on task. There aren’t any animations hopping around the screen, no shout-outs that could distract a child nor are there any loud sounds to shatter the puzzle solving process.

    6. Colour Changing Options
This is something my son and I both enjoy doing. You actually can choose the background colour of the display on which you want to play your puzzle. This is a lot of fun and keeps the excitement levels up.

In my opinion the advantages of playing puzzle games such as the one mentioned in this blog post is that it benefits children and adults alike.
Solving puzzles actually exerts our short term and photographic memory. Puzzles also have the ability to help improve our spatial memories. This is significant because it enhances our ability to remember information and our surroundings. It also helps us to think and draw conclusions at a faster rate. Surprisingly, puzzles do assist us in becoming more patient and persistent.

    About Me

Before I became a mom I had dedicated myself to being an Educator. As a teacher I always counselled parents on the battles that went on in their lives as mothers. Once a mother, these battles raged within me. Having said this, I also sensed that mothers around me are always in conflict within themselves.
