You see, there’s a reason why I am a happy ‘Mary Poppins’ in the morning that turns into the ‘Killer Frost’ by night!

Stay At Home Mom Love Cleaning Things So That The Kids Can Swing By And Destroy Them!

Once upon a time I had a super clean house….date that BEFORE KIDS.

I Am A Stay At Home Mom And I Am Literally Always Doing Laundry!

     Wash!
    Forget (Oh so often!)
    Remember.
    Smell!
    Damn. Still Wet!
    Re-Load!
    Wash!
    Dry!
Sort! (when and if I’m still standing)
    Iron!
    Pause Ironing!
Resume Ironing! (Donning Super Woman Cape)
    Stacked!
    Done!

I Am A Stay At Home And I Deliver Children All The Time!

For those of you who don’t know, Stay At Home Moms are like those FedEx delivery boys.

Always making a delivery…to school, back from school, to swimming class, back from swimming class, to birthday parties and back from birthday parties. I don’t know about the you guys, but I’m pretty much carrying my entire household wares in my car trunk.

And Yes…I flip-flops everywhere!!  It’s not like I ever hope to get out of the car and walk into a coffee shop!

I Am A Stay At Home Mom Stay At Home Moms Are Always Feeding People.

My children need 7 meals. Let me explain.
    Breakfast.

    Lunch.

    A top up snack.

    Evening Snack.

Pre-dinner shack and then some namesake meal (which I insist is dinner!)

When they aren’t eating they are planning what to eat next. And in spite of all this they fall on the floor in convulsions, and agonize over which is better: my cooking—or—starving!!

Then there’s the keeping them away from raiding the fridge!

    About Me

Before I became a mom I had dedicated myself to being an Educator. As a teacher I always counselled parents on the battles that went on in their lives as mothers. Once a mother, these battles raged within me. Having said this, I also sensed that mothers around me are always in conflict within themselves.
