    DIY Festive Decorations

    By Motheropedia | Do It Yourself (DIY) | 1 comment | 2 November, 2015 | 0

While the work was in progress on this blog, the husband walks up to me and says “HEY! This  is quite different from what you usually do!” I smiled. I know I have trailed a bit off with this piece but really!! I couldn’t stop myself.

The festive fervour is gorgeous and honestly, the mood is contagious. My heart covets the fancy decorations that sing the songs of the festivals. The decorative Diwali lanterns, the colourful wall hangings, the twinkling strings of lights and the sweet treats.

I am a big DIY fan. Here is a compilation of few DIY festive decoration resources that I found quite easy and superbly gorgeous.

P.S. – In bits and parts kids may be able to assist  in creating these, but basically, this one is a MOMMIES DIY!

    7. This is so beautiful. Sure it requires patience to make, but in the end, it is a more lasting option than fresh flower garlands.

    About Me

Before I became a mom I had dedicated myself to being an Educator. As a teacher I always counselled parents on the battles that went on in their lives as mothers. Once a mother, these battles raged within me. Having said this, I also sensed that mothers around me are always in conflict within themselves.
