I Love This Rap Which Say’s ‘NO’ To Bullying!

     Say NO To Bullying!
Your skin isn’t paper, don’t cut it.
Your face is not a mask, don’t cover it.
Your size is not a book, don’t judge it.
Your life is not a film, don’t end it.
Your story is an inspiration, be proud of it!

Bullying can have many vicious faces. It comes in all forms.  It morphs itself in the guise of verbal abuse, name calling, jeering, cyber bullying and the worst of all sorts, physical abuse.  Not only is it detrimental to one’s self-esteem and confidence but it can scar a person irrevocably for life.  While we as a parent fraternity can choose to do much about it, the first thing we can do it toughen our kids against the onslaught of it.

This is a beautiful video by KHARI on bullying. This is a different take on the conservative belief of bullying and focuses on verbal bullying. The lyrics are profound and address the conflicts that many children and parents battle with.

A biiiiggg hug to all the kids out there who have or, are, suffering from bullying. Remember, don’t let anyone’s ignorance, hate, drama or negativity stop you from being the best person you can be.

bullying, khari video, no to bullying

    About Me

Before I became a mom I had dedicated myself to being an Educator. As a teacher I always counselled parents on the battles that went on in their lives as mothers. Once a mother, these battles raged within me. Having said this, I also sensed that mothers around me are always in conflict within themselves.
