DIY Fridge Magnets Toddler Activity That Will Make Everyone Fall In Love

    By Motheropedia | Do It Yourself (DIY), Parenting | 7 comments | 5 March, 2018 | 1

This DIY Fridge Magnets Toddler Activity  is a great toddler and kid  activity.

It was co-incidentally discussed during one of our mom-toddler play dates.  A close Artist Friend knows what a huge DIY fan I am! She’s seen me do DIY Birthday Parties, DIY Sensory Play Tubs, DIY Arts and Crafts ! We have explored so much within our family. We couldn’t let this one pass now could we?!

Also it turned out that I had all the material needed for this DIY Fridge Magnets Toddler Activity at home.

So when the kids were home with the flu last week, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to try out these DIY Fridge Magnets. Not only are these easy to make but are also great ways of exhibiting your child’s art.

    You’ll Need:
Play Dough (of course we always have loads of these!)
    Magnets
    Glue
    And whole lots of creativity!

    How You Do It
The kids made a lot of things on this day. Out of them all, the favourite ones were a Nutella Pancake Miniature (those who know my family know what huge pancake fans we are!), a house and a cupcake.

Once these were made, I put them on a baking tray and popped them in the oven to bake till they puffed up and hardened. By the sight of the little char that you can see on some parts of the cooking, it’s pretty obvious we left them in for a little too long . However we did a good for the first time.

Next time, we are going to make sure that the we give them 40 seconds lesser in the oven.

Once these were out and cooled, all we had to do was stick on the magnet at the back and our DIY Fridge Magnets were ready to go up on the fridge!

When I read the ingredients I was wondering how playdough gonna stay on the magnet. Later saw the baking technique. Very creative.

    About Me

Before I became a mom I had dedicated myself to being an Educator. As a teacher I always counselled parents on the battles that went on in their lives as mothers. Once a mother, these battles raged within me. Having said this, I also sensed that mothers around me are always in conflict within themselves.
