    DIY Kids Activity Kit

    By Motheropedia | Do It Yourself (DIY), Motherhood | 0 comment | 10 October, 2016 | 1

It has been a long celebratory weekend in India. After the long nights of dancing during Navratri, the celebrations culminated with the auspicious Dussehra Pooja. India has thus witnessed a long awaited weekend break from school.

We grabbed the days off and took the kids to visit their grandparents. It wasn’t a long road trip, but with two kids in the car I knew it would definitely feel forever!!

When I started browsing for DIYs for road trips and busy activities, I remembered this video. This fantastic video of the DIY Kids Activity Kit had popped up on my Facebook wall sometime ago and I had been meaning to try it. Those of you who have been following my blog know what a huge fan of DIYs I am!

I finally had the perfect chance and made one each for both my kids. It was the best ever idea and this ACTIVITY KIT was a hit with the kids. Between both the children, we didn’t need much else for the entire 5 hour drive (well I’m not counting the chocolates, the Cheerios, the crackers, the chocos and the many pee-breaks!)

    About Me

Before I became a mom I had dedicated myself to being an Educator. As a teacher I always counselled parents on the battles that went on in their lives as mothers. Once a mother, these battles raged within me. Having said this, I also sensed that mothers around me are always in conflict within themselves.
