DIY Father’s Day Toddler Gift Ideas

    By Arshad | Do It Yourself (DIY) | 0 comment | 14 June, 2015 | 0

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Father’s Day should be celebrated with gaiety and fun!

On Mother’s Day as this year, my husband and kids totally swept me off the ground by sending me to Mumbai for a fun filled weekend (a gift of course!)  In those spinster moments in Mumbai, I truly savoured my reincarnation as an unattached woman, and craved for what I had left behind at home. While I basked in the indulgence of shopping at Palladium and drowned myself in the bubbling fondue at Indigo Deli, a dull ache in my heart made me long for my husband’s arms, my son’s endless chatter and my daughter’s baby babble. In those moments I knew which side the grass was greener for me.

Now that Father’s Day is dawning, I know I cannot beat what my family gave me as a gift, but I am certainly going to get the kids to appreciate the man who anchors our home. As I mentioned earlier, the kids have a simple father (saying a silent prayer here), with very simple leanings in life. (http://www.motheropedia.com/my-learning-from-absentmindedness/) So  looked around a little bit and found these absolutely beautiful DIY Father’s Day Gift Ideas and used a few for our gift ideas.

    About Me

Before I became a mom I had dedicated myself to being an Educator. As a teacher I always counselled parents on the battles that went on in their lives as mothers. Once a mother, these battles raged within me. Having said this, I also sensed that mothers around me are always in conflict within themselves.
